Hi..I have a problem with my aerator valve. Sometime the tank just keeps filling and overflowing the tank. Other times the aerator never came on even when the tank is half full. I took the solenoid valve apart and there was no particles inside and the diaphragms look fine. The knob is now at 2 o'clock position. the pump will run properly if I loosen it somewhat but water is leaking out of the knob. Should this knob be in the one o'clock position? Or does it matter? Where do I find replacement diaphragms? Lowes does not have it. What is the brand name of this solenoid valve?

Never seen one just like that. Is that water operated at the top or are there wires inside that sch 40 pipe to the black solenoid? Usually easy to just replace them with like an Irritrol 205. But I don't know what brand that one is.

It is the original valve that came with the tank. I can shut off the water flow by turning the knob/screw. If I don't, the aerator will not flow or it will overflow the tank. Both diaghrams seem to be in tact and I don't see any foreign objects inside.

Perchance you mean irrigation solenoid valve. Those ridges makes me think it is an Irritrol 2400 series inline valve. also, never seen fittings on top of a solenoid like that.
I suspect you may be correct, a fill solenoid valve, likely controlled by a float switch within the tank.

The PVC pipe on the right threaded into the Black coil, appears that it maybe functioning as a conduit as there appears to be a wire protruding, visible at the very bottom of the image.

If these suspicions are true, the issue is more likely to be the switch within the tank.
