I have an old shower arm with ball. The shower head has nylon thread. I have been unable to find an adapter which fits into the nut which remains on the arm. Any suggestions as to the make of this shower head which might lead to finding a proper adapter? My strong preference is not open the wall and try to remove the arm as it appears to be welded into the pipe.
