A way to remotely trigger Square D pressure switch?

It’s so much nicer to take a shower in the morning when our pressure tank is at the high end of its range. Sure I could raise the low pressure cutoff to ensure the minimum pressure is higher, but that’s needless wear and tear on the pump. Or I could walk down to the basement every night before going to bed and manually push the contactor on the Square D switch so that it fills up the tank to the high pressure cutoff. But that’s a pain. I’ve thought about a linear actuator to remotely press the contactor, but if that went wrong the switch could get stuck closed and overpressurize. I found a thread here talking about this problem in the context of people running solar systems who want to be sure the system tops off at the end of the day before the sun goes down, but it was almost 20 years ago and unsatisfying. Anybody have an elegant solution?

If you search this forum you will find the "elegant solution" for shower pressure so strong you won't even need soap is simply adding a Cycle Stop Valve. With a CSV the shower pressure will stay strong and constant for a month if you are in the shower for a month. There is no limit to the length of shower as there is when a pressure tank is depleting. You will also find that when the pump is running and pushing water into the system, the pressure will be much stronger than when water is simply being "drawn" from a tank.

With a CSV, the pressure will be strong and constant as soon as the tank is depleted and the pump is started. Most people just turn on the water and wait for the tank to empty and the CSV to start delivering constant pressure before they get in the shower. With a small pressure tank that happens very quickly. With larger pressure tanks, as you have noticed, the pressure is on the low side for a long time. Over 33 years of success and thousands of 5 star reviews proves this is the elegant solution to what you are wanting.
