Use of a tool like the one you show by an electrician probably would not fly; well at least in my case before I retired. When working every day on installations etc you tend to find just a very few hand tools that you need to do wiring. You also learn how to use those "few" tools a bit more than the average DIYer would in the way of stripping wire, cutting wire etc. You can use lineman's pliers to cut and strip and twist wires for example as an electrician since you use them every day; you tend to get an idea of how much pressure to use when stripping, or twisting etc. Which in the long run keeps you from having to switch from one tool to the other back and forth which tends to break your rhythm and takes you longer to complete the installation. Multipurpose tools like that are great for the home owner or DIYer but for an electrician I felt they were too clumsy and bulky to use and many times were far too big for tight spots.
