Would I see a noticeable improvement on 4" pipes by using a 1/2" cable instead of the 3/8" that came with the K-400 snake?

Can I get a larger cutter for use with the 1/2" cable?

Thanks!

The model with the 3/8" cable was the only one that Home Depot had.

It did a horrible job -- took all day.

I'm considering returning it and getting something bigger, but the K-750 gets pretty bad reviews, and I'm not happy about having to spend $2,500 on a bigger one.

Do you have a recommendation?

Thanks.

For a 3" line I would use a 1/2" cable minimum

For a 4" line 3/4" or 5/8 min

Rigid is USELESS

General 90 series last decades

I sold a Rigid K 750 for $500 it was less then 3 months old

Local pick up on Craig's list

Thank you.

I ordered a General Wire Speedrooter PS92-E.

Now to get HD to accept the return (they can be very difficult).

With the automatic feeder I hope . Safer to use and the feeder does the work

Make this guy an offer such as FREE shipping

I don't think the one I bought has the automatic feeder.

Be very ,very careful when not having a manual feed as the cable can easily get your arm tangled in the cable

Ive got the general mini rooter 3/8x75ft I think running down bigger lines if not knowing what you are doing can cause a twist up and snake get stuck . I am a Pro but not at this aspect of the trade.
