    Don't answer that ... but maybe answer this: Just installed new Waterworker 20 gallon pressure thank with 38 psi. New 40/60 switch. Pressure is now worse than. I have an ancient water softener, which I'll likely replace soon, but even with the bypass pressure is bad. Thoughts?

    Pump cycling only when water running

    In the last 24 hours, only when water is running does my pump cycle from 50 to 20. This link shows the gauge . I did clean out a water filter and softener filter. Tank pressure at 45 lbs. What's next?

    Well Pressure switch

    Thanks to those who've replied before, and I am sorry I haven't resolved the fact my pump runs often and briefly. Wellwater switch (at base of tank) switches on at 25 psi, and off at about 32. The pressure tank reads 32 psi. I screw the cut-off switch down, but almost no increase in cut-off...

    Pump turns on at 25 psi, turns off at 30. I've screwed down the cut-off nearly nut nearly all the way down, and no change. What gives - bad switch?
