    Sump pit liner

    I plan on enlarging the sump pit (currently a 12" x 20" hole in the floor) in my basement and install a plastic pit liner. Outside of holes for the foundation drains, do I need to drill any additional small holes into the liner (say, at the bottom to let any excess water absorb into the dirt)...
