    OK, I think this is what I will do. This way, there are no loops and the distances to each fixture are minimized. Please give me advice or other feedback if need be. Discussion helps others too. back.

    OK, so if the two paths in a loop are equal, it will waste hot water by filling both ends of the loop, but if one is 3 feet long and one is 27 feet long, then 90% of the water will take the short path? Even if it's not linear (physics hates linear curves, lol), is that still the general idea...
