    Gerber Viper

Well, almost a year later, I have finally gotten around to doing this project. I had the day off, so I picked up a Viper at the supply house and installed it this AM. I made sure it had a 3" flush valve, as recommended. The wife says it "flushes like a dream" and she is not easily impressed...

    Shower leak help

If you point the shower head on the back wall, so no water gets in the shower door track, do you still get water where it should not be?

Is Moen getting rid of the Posi Temp?

Either. Depends on if you buy Serise 2 Trim (works like PT) or Serise 3 trim (works like MR) to go with the valve body.

Is Moen getting rid of the Posi Temp?

I 100% agree that is the plan. I would not worry about it tho. There are millions an millions of PT valves installed. I would imagine you will be able to get parts and trim for a very long time.

Delta diverter vale R11000 1/2" PEX to tub spout

I have done two (both Moen). I used copper. I would stick to what delta says. No one is going to see the drop ear in the wall.

P-trap arm need slope? slow draining issue queston

I am not a plumber. It is likely filled with biofilm. Just pop the trap off and look … 1/2 hour job, max.

Do you have to remove the mortar if your GC has ruined your acrylic tub and it has to be replaced?

I am just a DIYer, but have done several tubs. Maax tech support told me their tubs are all hand made and no two exactly the same. I expect Kohler is the same. Therefore, the mortar bed will need to be different.

    Gerber Viper

Hi All: I was down at the supply house today toilet shopping. I was looking for the Gerber Avalanche, but they do not stock that one. They do stock the Gerber Viper 1.28 GPF (WS38592) at a very good price. I am just wondering if anyone has any recent experience with this one and could...

    Identifying stale PVC primer?

Not a plumber. A lot of those products have date stamps / expiration windows. As a DIYer, I usually buy the smallest quantity available and throw away it away, if expired before my next project.

    Legend valve hyperpure PERT

I have used it to replace some hydronic radiators, with crimp rings. The only thing I did not is it does not seem as abrasion resistant as pex. Brand was VIPERT.
