2nd vote for retrofitting to low flow MP or rotary style nozzles. Under 35 psi standard pop-up sprinklers won't pop well.

It sounds like you might have some control valves that aren't opening all the way. You should be able to listen down at the valve when turned on and see if you can hear a restriction in the valve. Often there's a manual bleed you can open - if the valve fully opens it should be rebuilt.

Little late in this reply but are you running the irrigation thru the water softener?

You need a delay between zones. If your controller doesnt have this feature, skip a zone when wiring them. Aka connect zone one leave two black connect three etc.. Many times when running a well, the zone changes is what causes the problem. When switching from zone one to zone two zone one...
