Which way should the sweeps that lead to an AAV be facing?

I'm confused about what I'm missing... How is a single connection to the AAV a better solution than 2? Will the washer p trap have proper venting even though the connection to the vent is farther away than it would've been in my original drawing?

Which way should the sweeps that lead to an AAV be facing?

Yes you are correct. All drains that are horizontal on the page are horizontal with the exception of the sink drain. And all vertical drains on the page are vertical. Given that diagram, the washer p trap would be properly vented?

Which way should the sweeps that lead to an AAV be facing?

I've been looking to see if where I am is IPC, but I cant seem to find anything helpful leading me to believe that it's UPC. If it is UPC, then I'll have no choice but to do 2 AAVs?

Which way should the sweeps that lead to an AAV be facing?

The vertical part was finished recently and I'd really rather not cut it up again. Could I just put an AAV above the washer and then another after the sink trap under the sink?

Which way should the sweeps that lead to an AAV be facing?

So what's the answer? Move the washer p trap downstream to be closer to the sink drain? Install 2 AAVs, one for the washer and 1 for the sink?

Which way should the sweeps that lead to an AAV be facing?

The horizontal drain line is at 22". The waste leaves the house through the wall just a little lower than that. I don't have the height to put the sink drain above the washers

Which way should the sweeps that lead to an AAV be facing?

I didn't know that the sink trap needs to be vented before connecting it to the larger drain. What if I used a double wye in place of the sink drain wye/45 combo? Then a 45 out to the sink drain on one side, and on the other a 45 up to the AAV vent pipe?

Which way should the sweeps that lead to an AAV be facing?

I needed to put in an AAV to vent the laundry room but I didn't know which way the sweeps that lead to it should be facing I'm not sure if the sweeps should be facing the way the are in the diagram, or the opposite direction. Any help would be appreciated

Need advice on venting/plumbing a laundry room with sewage backing up

I know it wasn't just a venting issue that caused the backup. The slope on the washer/sink drain was sloped backwards in a section. That's been corrected, now I'm just figuring out the vent. So in no scenario is it acceptable to use the 3" drain line from upstairs as a wet vent?

Need advice on venting/plumbing a laundry room with sewage backing up

Yeah that picture was just a relatively close example of what my plan was. I just found it. I can see how that arrow was confusing. It was just to show the approximate height that the drain from upstairs 45s into a wall and goes outside.

Need advice on venting/plumbing a laundry room with sewage backing up

This is basically what my original plan was... am I correct that this isn't acceptable?

Need advice on venting/plumbing a laundry room with sewage backing up

Hello. I recently had a sewage backup into a bottom floor laundry room sink and washing machine. It led to me opening up the wall and realizing that the plumbing and venting of the room was wrong and needs to be redone. This is a ground floor laundry room with a washing machine and utility...
