Sorry I know this is an old post but I'd like to confirm this behavior. I have a Honeywell IAQ thermostat system with the EIM. It's cooling season here and I noticed that the reversing valve was energized and felt hot to the touch. The Bosch Geothermal system it's controlling works fine...
