    i usually used the RP40589 trim ring since it has an X shape which nakes it larger where the water and riser pipes are located.

    vlue pipe would usually mean PEX ot pvc, in which case you CANNOT glue it.

    I do not understand what "flange was off, so they pushed it down and it moved back 3" means. But in any case I WOULD jack hammer and repair the piping.

    AAVs allow air INTO the line, but if a toilet is not flushing because of a vent problem then air has to ESCAPE out of the pipe and even a million AAVs will not help it.

    IF you installed the valve correctly and needed the extender kit, there is no way you would just need the one part, since they are a "package deal" and go together.
