Kerdi fix vs GE advanced silicon 2 (100% silicone)

I am using kerdi membrane and bathtub is made by kohler

Kohler says use 100% silicone - which is GE advanced 2 100% silicone

But kerdi obviously say use kerdi fix
so am confused now... @Terry Love @Terry

Schluter allows the use of the silicone to seal the Kerdi membrane to the tub. Thinset will stick to the KerdiFix probably better, but that may not be an issue. KerdiFix is a silane-based product that has zero VOCs, and is easier to clean up. Done well, either will work to provide the seal you want to get the membrane sealed to the tub.

Personally, I'd probably opt for Kerdiboard, but have used the membrane successfully. Then, you only need to seal the seams rather than put up the substrate, and then install the membrane on top of it.
