If it is bad, replace it. But it appears that you are just guessing that it is bad. Guessing is not a good idea, because you can spend a lot of money guessing at solutions and not cure the problem. Check the entire system, or have it checked, to see what the problem really is. It could range from a failing well, to a bad switch, with many other options in between.

: I went to help out a little old lady the other day who explained her water pressure would drop real low before "coming back up" to normal, whereas in the past she hardly noticed a difference in the "constant" pressure... She said first thing in the morning, the pressure was up fine, but in a matter of no time it would drop after running a lawn sprinkler, and stay down the rest of the day...

: She has a well with a pressure tank.
: I bled off some air from the tank, and no water came out. So I gave both screws on her pressure switch about one full turn, which seemed to fix the problem for a couple of days... but now it's back.

: Should I replace the pressure switch, which is probably about twenty years old?
