: The water pressure coming into my home is 150+#. Plumber recommends installing a Honeywell pressure regulator ($500+ for parts & labor) & says the Wilkins regulator is no good. Am I a sucker if I go with the Honeywell?

If this is your regular plumber, have some trust in his/her recommedation.
Although I have never installed a Wilkins or Honeywell PRV, (Watts is very common here), I would go with Honeywell. I have never seen Wilkens brand name on anything, Honeywell is everywhere.
