: We just replaced a leaking galvanized pressure tank with a fiberglass one. It resides in the garage with the washer and dryer....Missouri summers can be hot and humid.
: Is sweating normal for fiberglass? The floor is quite wet. The pump company says it's the dryer that is causing the problem because it is not vented to the outside.
: Any ideas? Suggestions? Standing water is a real negative.
: Thanks for your help.

Wrap the tank from the bottom to just above the Full waterline with a 1" fiberglass air foil insulation. This type of insulation is used on a/c ductwork. Hube
