: I am going to install an American Standard water control valve in a shower stall remodel situation. It has NO hardware or brakets to secure to studs. Is this held only by the soldered in control pipes and the face plate configuration??? Seems like it should have more support..,,Anyone help?

The faucet has to be secured properly or you can have problems down the road.
Use wood blocking (in between the studs) and straps or clamps to brace the valve body or the piping to the wood.
