Thanks Reply: I would try to cut the piece out of the galvanized fitting, it shouldn't be too deep in the wall, then install a utility trap or galvanized nipple stubbing out just past the wall and use a regular chrome plated tubular drain trap with an escutcheon to cover the connection onto the galv nipple. e-plumber
