I have come across a cast iron pipe protruding from the ground next to an old foundation. It has the word HERCO stamped on it. It is approximately 6 in. in diameter and 12 feet high. I have been told the house that was formerly on the foundation was built in the late 30s or early 40s. Could this pipe be a sewer pipe? Thanks, Mariah |
