: Hi. I am an owner of a two story town home. Upstaird in the attic contains my air conditioning unit and there is a pvc pipe that runs off the side that is leaking. The leak obviously has been occuring for some time. It has a slow drip but over time it has managed to run in between the air conditioning intake and a portion of the truss and is leaking all over the carpet. It has also caused some minor ceiling damage. the house is only two years old. Is there a certain kind of plumbing cement or sealant that will enable me to stop this leak and if not how can I stop it?

What is leaking? Is it the pipe to drain pan connection? Is it the plastic male adapter to pipe connection? Is your drain clogged and the pan overflowing?
In my jurisdiction we have two drain pipes from an air conditioning coils safety pan. The primary drain and an overflow drain. LonnythePlumber
