|In response to Re: no pressure build up on pressure gauge or|
:::This pump may reguire you to prime the pump. There may be a small screw head visable near the discharge line from the pump. The pump I just install in my house had this. I would fill the pump with water and turn this screw all the way in. I turn on the pump and watch the pressure rise to 45psi and then back the screw out until the gauge reads 25psi. Hopefully this helps somewhat.
: I rencently purchased a Sears Shaloow well pump and intalled a well. I don't have any material on the pump and have no knowledge of wells. I insert 30psi into the tank but it does not show any reading on the water gauge. I start the pump and still no reading on gauge but I am pumping water, very low pressure. Pump stays running and nevery stops. My question is two fold. Is the pump bad or is the well not getting efficent water? The well is down 19 feet and I am told by neighbors that 14 to 20 feet is about what the wells are in my area. Tanks for any info.
