: I recently installed new plumbing in my bath/shower consisting of three new spindles with new stems and handles. Everything seemed to install correctly except that now, when I divert bath water to shower, lots of water still comes out of bath spout. No matter how far I turn the diverter, water still comes out of the bath spout. I still get a good flow to my shower head, but it only seems that 50 percent of the water is diverted to the shower. Any suggestions to correct???
If you installed a "new Plumbing" shower body I hope you knew to install a pressure or temperature balance type.
There are some that are three valve configurations but they really do not seem to work to well.
If you installed a "regular" 3 valve type you just did something contrary to most codes and left yourself open to a major lawsuit
