: : I checked the toilet bolts, found them to be rusty but couldn't remove them the bolts were rusted on, tried to seal with a sealant around where it might be leaking, now when we flush it seems to have a bigger leak under the tank right in the middle as opposed to the end where the bolts where and I noticed there is a small dripping , not always in the basement from this problem. : Get a tank rebuilding kit (Gerber, Crane, Eljer) etc, : Carefully cut out the existing bolts installthe new brass ones and replace the Douglas valve main gasket, Tighten gently Thanks for the idea,,,, |
