Another one of my dumb questions related to basement plumbing. I am installing a sewage ejector pit and pump in the basement to handle the basement plumbing fixtures. Two questions: 1. Can I have more than one drain line draining into the pit? The reason I ask is that if I can do that I can eliminate at least one pair of 45 degree bends in one drain. 2. Is there anything I should pay particular attention to when installing a sewage ejector pit and pump beyond the basic venting and sealing requirements? |
