Sir think about this removing the HUB no hub coupling INCASE you have no clue to a mission Coupling
NOW about molten lead
THINK like a semi skilled apprentice and use a short piece of NO HUB pipe say 6-8" and CAULK IT IN then pour the joint, pack ,trim let it cool THEN use an adapter coupling NO HUB CAST IRON to Plastic DUH that took a lot of brains to think HUH?
By the way If one is really in a jam they CAN pour a joint with plastic and use a heat shield like we Certified welders do BUT thats another topic and school is out for now.
