Square D makes a pressure switch just for that. FSG2M42040(20-40 Low Pressure cut-off switch) or FSG2M43050 (30-50 Low Pressure cut-off switch) If the line pressure drops about 7psi below the cut-in pressure the switch will "trip" and have to be reset manually to run the pump again. : I have a square d pumptrol pressure switch on my irrigation system. One of the pumps receives its water directly from a ditch (no storage tank). The ditch loses water occasionally. Can the pressure swithc be configured to shut the system down if pressure drops below 10psi? : If not, do you have a suggestion for low pressure protection. : Thanks-Gary Cave
