Not exceptionally long since it may only be 8" or 10" thick, but you should use a diamond core drill. Usually cheaper to hire a hole driller than to do it yourself. : Thanks for the quick response... do you know what kind of drill is used for this purpose? I presume with a rather long bit lol... - Steve
