6" joists are a bit small for a second floor of any kind, unless there are a lot of bearing walls under them. Putting plumbing into them even without the 6' run would be almost impossible given the dimensions of the fittings needed to do the job. : I am Instaling a new bath room on the second floor of my house. the room was never plumbed. Im worried about the pitch of the sewer line for the toilet.
