My wife keeps complaining that the water slowly drains out of the bathroom sinks. She wants to wash out some small clothes items, like stockings and a sweater, etc. The pop-up plugs just do not seem to seal tight enough; the seal is basically a flimsy piece of plastic or rubber. I replaced one with a new one to see if it made a difference, but it also slowly leaked out. Is there a secret to getting these plugs to seal tight so they don't leak ? I told her to wash them out in a small plastic tub, but she wants to use the sink. The only thing I can come up with is to get one of the old-fashioned rubber plugs (if I can find one to fit!) so she can use it in one of the sinks. Any help appreciated. Thanks ! |
