I'm building a 4X6 ft shower and have loose grit on the mortar surface 24 hours after mixing and sloping. I've kept the surface wet and covered with visqueen. I used 4 parts sand to 1 part cement and mixed with acrylic until I could form a ball with one hand. I'm concerned that the surface is too crumbly. ABORT, RETRY, FAIL? |
