Yes, the bowl to tank bolts are brass.

Closet bolts are a seperate puchase though. I've seen some rugged plastic bolts from
Sioux Chief that look interesting too.
We have mainly been using the brass ones.
Old tried and tested, but open to new ideas too.

Toto's with the 3" flush valves are a great choice for an older home.
