|In response to Re: Heating pump in wrong direction|
I think you are right, we need a new plumber. Especially as he was supposed to come back on Monday and we still haven't seen him!
: No way to tell without seeing the system. But what do you mean by "he thinks"? Either it is in wrong or not, or you need a new plumber.
: : Our plumber tells us he thinks the pump is drawing water from the outlet rather than pumping it from the inlet. We checked a neighbour's identical system and theirs is the same. The plumber says this is preventing the system from being filled, causing trapped air and noise. He has fitted a new pump (the old one died) and has the central heating working but not the water heater. Also one radiator is stone cold. The others are fine and there is no air in the radiator.
