|In response to Re: offset in main stack vent|
: : I was looking at my existing vent stack and saw that a previous remodel installed a 2 foot horizontal offset just below the bathroom floor. The stack serves only the bathroom (the kitchen actually has it's own sewer & vent exit), and the size of the vent from the stack is 2". Is it OK to have 90 degree offsets in the main vent below the bathroom fixtures? Will this trip me up when my new remodel is inspected?
: : Thanks!
: Generally, vents should not be offset horizontally below the flood rim level of the fixtures they serve.
