|In response to Re: Water Softener Alternative|
Be very careful! There are many 'Alternative' options out there that do nothing but take your money. I'm speaking from first hand experience, we tried some 'alternative' solutions in our cooling towers and it was a costly mistake. I have read reports on alternatives to residential water softeners from the Commercial treatment company we now use. NOT encouraging. Really question the ones which say 'used in Europe for years'. Best advice, stick to one of the major players in the field.
: Are water softener alternatives (water conditioner) effective in solving hard water problems? If yes, is there a specific brand that you would recommend?
: Thank you very much for your help.
