In response to Re: Does sewage ejector need GFCI outlet?
: I have installed a sewage ejector in my basement. Does it need to be plugged into a GFCI outlet? If the circuit trips and I don't know, I could be in trouble. Thoughts?

Reply:
A properly grounded receptacle is required with its' own circut breaker. A GFCI is not required by code but some manufacturers suggest one for "added safety".
Good Luck. e-plumber
