: Hello: We have a shower in the basement apartment that has been tiled. A reno is to be done and I would like to know if there is some sort of moulded plastic ledge covering that I could put on. There is a knee wall that runs across the wall of the entire apartment which makes a ledge halfway up the shower wall. IS there any such animal? Reply:
A "moulded plastic ledge covering" would need to be custom fit the knee wall.
IMO, it would be a good idea to install membrane material as part of the shower (base) liner over the ledge before the tile restoration process begins during the renovation work.
