If the pipe is deep enough for the offset flange that has the offset between the connection and the flange, it will work find. If the offset is the shallow one that has an oval opening to make the offset, then it will be difficult to seal properly, and the offset "shelf" will cause stoppage problems.
: I want to replace a toilet that is over a 14" rough-in. The toilet I'd like to install requires a 12" rough-in. How effective would an offset flange be in this situation?
