In response to Re: Moving toilet 2.5 inches
: In my small bathroom, a replacement tub system will reduce my sidewall clearance to the toilet flange to about 10.25" OC. It was always a tight space with the old sidewall clearance at about 12" OC to the flange with the old tub. My question is: What would be the easiest way to offset the toilet about 2.5" from the wall? This is an older home with cast iron flange about 2ft in length into a vertical lead connection, directly below the current stool position. I might add that the cast iron flange is broken at the normal mounting slots and the flange is intact fore and aft. Any suggestions will be appeciated. Thanks, Herf

First you could purchase a 10" rough Toto toilet or you could install an offset closet flange if you can get to the piping below.
