If you just broke the nut and the tailpiece is still in the radiator, unscrew it. The nut often has to be cut off to remove that piece from a cast iron radiator. .: I need to remove a fitting from a cast iron radiator. I broke the nut that is captured on the U fitting (on the bottom end of the radiator) that threads onto the pipe coming from the system. Any ideas??? : Thanks...Kevin
