|In response to Re: waste pipe leak under tub|
If it's 20 - 30 years old and you indeed want a long-term fix, I'd replace the whole drain shoe/overflow assembly. New joints and new seals will provide long-term trouble-free operation. Good luck and have fun.
: i'm in through the wall in the room next door. i've got an obvious drip at the joint on the waste pipe. what is the best way to go here? replace the entire waste overflow system? or can i get away with doing something less? i do want a long-term fix.
: thanks for the help!
