In response to Re: toilet leaking at the stop valve
: I have a leak at the supply valve. The toilet is completely disconnected and removed. The valve is turned off, but contiues to drip. Can I possibly fix this without calling a plumber?

The valve needs to be replaced with one that works. For the time being, you can purchase a 3/8" compression cap to seal the valve outlet.
Good Luck. e-plumber
