We are just in the process of buying a house. Now the toilets in the upper floor have a strange behaviour. I have never seen this before:
When I flush the toilet a massive air bubble is coming up first (at least 2 to 3" high). After that the water runs off fine. Even our inspector told me that he has not seen something like this before.
But the plumber who is doing some repairs before we close wrote that thuis would be normal.
Is this a "feature" or the american low cost version of a bidet or just improper venting?
