: hi, i have a oil furnace that you have to turn the power on and off switch on the side of furnace sometimes to turn furnace on, it is not blowing or tripping any breakers,its like a circut is being broken then needs reset. any help on this would be greatly appreciated.craig
It could be a loose connection, either at the thermostat (24V )wire in the furnace or the 110v feed line to the burner. I assume your not "resetting" because of a "lockout". This button would be inside the unit compartment on the burner motor, and not the one outside the compartment.
