: A snap cutter does not spin around the pipe. It squeezes it until it breaks. You just have to have room to get the chain around the pipe.
: : I will be cutting into the main stack under my basement floor for a bathroom hookup. I have broken the concrete and dug about as much as i can. The stack is between the sump and the wall. I have to cut the stack pretty deep in the floor and I was looking for methods to cut the cast. I do not believe I will be able to spin a snap cutter around the pipe. Are there any cutters available for tight quarters or possbly a blade for a recip saw?
: : thanks for your input
