The pipe seldom deteriorates. If you are going to have a problem with it, it will be at the joints between the pipes. That is where roots can enter the sewer and cause problems. : Does anybody know anything about sewer pipe made by INTERPACE CORP? The pipe is orange color and 6 inches in diameter and brick types of material. My house was built in 1956 and I try to find out if the sewer pipe that runs through the back yard has ever been replaced. I exposed part of the sewer pipe and it looks fine on the outside and the drain seems to be working good as well. I just wonder if there is need for sewer pipe replacement in the near future.
