Hope someone out there can help me.
This evening my cold water pipes started shaking throughout the house. They'll be quiet for about 10 seconds, then shake for 5-7 seconds, then quiet, then shake, then (you get the picture)... The whole house rattles.
All the water lines seem to work. It's been bitterly cold here in New Hampshire over the past week or so, but we didn't get any frozen pipes and it started to warm up yesterday. It's about 20 F right now.
The problem just started out of the blue about 40 minutes ago, and I cannot get ahold of my plumber.
Thanks in advance for your help.
