|In response to Re: one knob delta shower diverter stem|
Unscrew it using the proper sized deep socket, remove the loose parts inside, and then screw a new diverter into the valve.
: hi - i have a single knob delta shower faucet with what seems to be a broken diverter. the shower head works but water shoots straight out from the diverter as well (i don't need a bidet in the shower). i've removed the face plate and see the hardware. question: is this something i can fix myself or does a plumber need to come in? i am mildly handy (righty tighty) and can follow a schematic or directions. thanks for your help and for maintaining this forum.
