|In response to Re: Compression fitting problems|
I would be worried about using a compression fitting at the top of a toilet supply. I have always used a 3/8 closet supply. This is the type of supply with a flat top and flat washer. The opposite end usually goes into a 3/8 stop and the cmopression nut is on that end.
: I am hard connecting a toilet with 1/2 inch flexible chrome pipe. The fitting on the stop is a compression fitting. This is my second try (the first I gorrillaed the nut until I broke it.) I keep getting water seeping through between the pipe and the sleeve. What could be causing this continual problem with such a simple device. I am at my wits end...
