Honeywell V8043 E 1020 Motorized Valve

I recently installed a new honeywell valve on a heat exchanger for an indoor swimming pool. This was a little 3 way valve with the DC drive head. I couldn't get a full closure on the unit and after talking to the local factory rep in town, he agreed to change it for another new valve assemby. We (factory rep & I) took the valve apart and found a small defect on 1 of the ports. It would have never sealed. Small defect, real pain in the ass. You may be looking at the same situation if this is a 3 way valve. Hope this helps...
